Als Ergebnis eines durchdachten Vorgehens und einer genauen Kenntnis unserer Terroirs zeichnet sich der weiße Rebsortenbestand des Weinguts durch seine Komplexität und Originalität aus. Das Streben nach aromatischer Ausgewogenheit hat uns dazu veranlasst, exotische Rebsorten (wie Petit Manseng, Albariño und Verdejo) mit den traditionellen Rebsorten der Region (Marsanne, Roussanne, Maccabeu und Grenache Blanc) zu kombinieren, um der endgültigen Assemblage einen Hauch von Frische und natürlicher Säure zu verleihen. Eine subtile und elegante Cuvée mit vielen Nuancen.

Boden
PETIT MANSENG, ALBARIÑO, VERDEJO : Weinberg Peyral: Südhang des Pech, vor Nordwind geschützt. Kühles Terroir. Die Parzellen wurden um alte Gipsbrüche herum in einer Senke angelegt, deren Boden eine Mischung aus Mergel mit hoher Eisenkonzentration und Kalksteinadern ist. MARSANNE, ROUSSANNE, GRENACHE BLANC, GRENACHE GRIS, MACCABEU: Weinberg Cendrillon: Terrassen des Orbieu. Ausrichtung nach Westen. Lehm- und kalkhaltiger Sand am Fuße der Hänge des Pech.

Schöne, klare, blassgelbe Robe mit goldenen Reflexen. Aromen von frischen Früchten, Zitrusfrüchten, weißen Pfirsichen und subtilen blumigen Anklängen. Schönes Gleichgewicht am Gaumen zwischen Frische und Cremigkeit, zarte Gebäcknoten, die die Harmonie und Mineralität im Abgang unterstreichen.

(EN) Quite complex on the nose: pineapples and gooseberries, ripe peaches and greengages, tarragon and black cardamom. Plus something just a little creamy/leesy. Full, and overflowing with a plethora of fruit from gooseberry green to mango gold and pretty much everything in between. Lustrous fruit, despite being bone dry and cut to shape by a crisp prism of acidity. An intriguing blend of varieties. Do not serve this too cold – it tasted best at cellar temperature of about 14 °C (57 °F). (TC)

A frisson of spice and dried wild flowers. A crescendo of flavours with a long, sure finish. A real beauty. Retails at around $16 in the US and tastes more than twice the price.
